The challenge
Dozens of invoices a month arriving through different channels and formats (PDF, photo, email), classified by hand against a chart of more than 30 income and expense categories. Hours of repetitive administrative work, with a real risk of error.
What we did
An automated workflow: unified document ingestion, specialized invoice-data extraction, semantic classification by category with a confidence score, orderly logging into the management spreadsheet — and human approval for every document below the confidence threshold. We also trained the team to operate and adjust the workflow.
